Oregon State University (OSU) partnered with INTO in 2008 to support its ambitious growth targets for international student enrolment. OSU recognized the need for tailored academic, language and personal support, providing students with the confidence and skillset they need to flourish at OSU. The University saw an opportunity to offer a more robust and effective suite of academic programs and support for international students to enhance its global reach and continue to elevate OSU’s reputation of academic excellence.
Challenge
Solution
- Created INTO OSU in the heart of Oregon State University's campus - a dedicated study center providing international students with academic preparation, language support, wellbeing resources, and a thriving international student community.
- Developed a range of programs and routes of study to ensure the academic and personal success of international students at the beginning of their OSU undergraduate or graduate study journeys.
- Leveraged INTO’s global network to enhance OSU's international recruitment efforts, increasing global student visibility.
- Launched International Direct in 2020/2021 following the success of the Undergraduate Pathway, supporting all of OSU’s fully admitted degree-seeking international students, with an additional layer of support and services pre-arrival and throughout their first year at OSU.
