INTO Manchester students shine at NCUK Academic Prize Awards 2023

Several INTO Manchester students have been recognised for their outstanding academic achievements during the 2022-23 academic year

(MANCHESTER): Sixteen INTO Manchester students have received the prestigious NCUK Academic Prize Awards 2023 in recognition of their exceptional academic achievements.

INTO accomplished an extraordinary feat as two of its students secured the top Global High Achievers Award in both the International Foundation Year and Master’s Preparation categories. The remaining winners received recognition with prizes in regional nominations.

The awards, presented on 21 December, showcase the exceptional talent and commitment of students who pursued NCUK qualifications in the 2022/23 academic year.

It has been a pleasure supporting them in their journey and helping them to transform their ambitions into a reality. We look forward to seeing them excel in the range of academic and professional endeavours they pursue in the future,” said Dawn Abbott, Centre Director at INTO Manchester.

Situated at the heart of Manchester, the INTO Manchester Centre delivers pathway programs to international students in collaboration with NCUK. The Centre offers a range of courses tailored to students’ needs before they progress on to their chosen course, providing a guaranteed route to one of over 25 leading universities in the UK.

In the 2022/23 academic year, more than 4,500 students took NCUK qualifications, making the awards highly competitive.

INTO students who have received Academic Prize Awards include:

International Foundation Year

• Andrew – Winner of the Global High Achiever award for being the top-performing International Foundation Year student in the world.
• Jackie – Winner of the Regional High Achiever award for being the second highest-performing International Foundation Year student in the world.
• Win, Geraldo, Chang, Priyanka, Aldo, Chiu, Fatma, Jun Foo and Jasper – Winners of the Recognised Achiever award for being some of the top performing International Foundation Year students from the UK & Europe region.

International Year One

• Zhang and Divyesh – Winners of the Regional High Achiever award, making them the top performing NCUK International Year One students in the UK & Europe region.

Master's Preparation

• Shuhei – Winner of the Global High Achiever award being the top-performing Master’s Preparation student in the world.
• Artem and Wania – Winners of the Regional High Achiever award for being the top-performing Master’s Preparation students in the UK & Europe region.
