Drew University, a private, liberal arts institution, focuses on a one-on-one approach to learning that ensures students never get lost in the crowd. Drew is in the top 100 best liberal arts schools in the US, according to the Wall Street Journal and Times Higher Education 2021. Drew delivers a unique, career-centered curriculum called Launch, which has employability opportunities included in coursework from day one.

Drew’s campus offers students the comforts of small-town life and access to the professional and cultural advantages of living near New York City. Located in Madison, New Jersey, it is one of the safest towns in the state and ranked the No. 3 safest college town in the US by Safewise 2020. The city is only a short train ride away. In fact, Drew is known for its New York City semester programs, which bring students to Wall Street, the United Nations and other sites to learn directly from experts in their fields.

In terms of international student population, Drew ranks No. 4 among all baccalaureate colleges in the US for its international student population, according to Open Doors 2021. The university welcomed more than 400 international students to campus in the 2020-2021 academic year.

The INTO Drew Center

INTO Drew University provides students with the assistance and resources they need to make the most of their studies. The INTO Drew Center is located on campus and provides students with a Learning Resource Center and programs to help students integrate into the campus and local community.

  • Tilghman Executive Roundtable – giving international students a forum to connect with executives and hone their employability skills.
  • A team of academic faculty and staff offering personalized academic coaching, language and cultural support.
  • 100% of INTO Drew Pathway students were eligible to progress to degree programs in 2019-2020, 88% of whom enrolled.

Programs

INTO offers students the option to apply for direct admission into a variety of Drew degree programs, or to prepare for a degree with INTO Drew Pathway programs.

Top-ranked degree programs at Drew include a top-20 theatre program in the US, according to The Princeton Review 2021, and a top-40 political science program in the US, according to The Princeton Review 2019.

INTO Drew Programs:

  • Undergraduate and Graduate Degrees: Students who meet academic and English requirements for their desired undergraduate and graduate degree programs can apply to the university program on INTO Study.
  • International Year One: Students can earn credits toward their degree even if they don’t meet academic and English requirements for their chosen undergraduate degree program.
  • Undergraduate Transfer Program: A customized program allowing students to transfer credits and apply them toward their degree.
  • Integrated Master’s Program: Students who meet the English language requirements for a graduate degree program and need additional academic and cultural support can apply directly to the university program and receive customized support.
  • Graduate Pathway: Provides a direct path to various degree programs, offering academic foundation, essential language skills and personalized academic coaching.
  • Academic English: An intensive program offering students rapid progress in preparation for an academic degree.

  • 94% of Drew graduates are employed in their chosen field or in graduate school within six months of graduation.
