The University of Stirling is based in central Scotland, close to Glasgow and Edinburgh providing fantastic access to amazing opportunities in Scotland.

The university is ranked in the top 40 in the Complete University Guide 2022 and has 17 different subject areas in the Top 20 league tables, including The Times, Complete University Guide and The Guardian. QS have also rated it 5 stars for excellence for teaching, employability, internationalization, facilities and inclusiveness.

The campus is No. 1 in the UK for campus environment, according to the UK International Student Barometer Benchmark 2018. The university’s careers services are also in the top 5 in the UK and top 15 in the world, according to the UK International Student Barometer Benchmark 2018 and Global International Student Barometer Benchmark 2018. In 2020, the University of Stirling was voted in the top 20 universities in the UK for student satisfaction, according to National Student Survey 2020.

The University of Stirling has also invested £41m in new facilities, with the new £21 million sports center having opened in November 2020. The university was also named a Sports University of the Year by The Times and The Sunday Times 2020.

The INTO Stirling Center

INTO University of Stirling moved from Airthrey Castle to a modern, purpose-built center in 2017, right in the heart of the campus. The student population has become more diverse than ever with students from every corner of the globe taking part in courses. The center has a fantastic success rate, with 93% of students completing their pathway in 2019-20, of which 93% were eligible to progress to the University of Stirling.

The facilities at Stirling are first-rate, with a modern, purpose-built center being one of the focal points of the University of Stirling campus. The center features a lecture theater and spacious classrooms, free Wi-Fi throughout the building as well as the café Umami which is popular with staff and students from across the university. Students also benefit from 24/7 support from the staff, with regular contact from the student welfare officer and an emergency line that they can call any time.

The center is also right next to the bus terminal, from which students can catch the UniLink bus giving students access to Stirling city center in as little as 10 minutes.

Programs

The University Of Stirling has a wealth of subjects in the various Top 20 of the UK league tables, including business, accounting, marketing, sports science, media, communication, politics, economics and criminology.

INTO offers students the opportunity to apply for direct admission into the university’s degree programs, as well as a range of courses allowing students access to undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Students can gain entry to Year 2 of 4 via the International Foundation or International Year One, or can access Year 3 of 4 via the International Diploma or International Year Two.

Postgraduate students can progress to a range of master’s degrees through the Pre-Masters courses or Graduate Diplomas.

Interim Center Director, INTO University of Stirling

Anna serves as Interim Center Director for INTO University of Stirling.

Anna is a business graduate from Glasgow Caledonian University and holds a master’s degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Strathclyde. Anna joined INTO in 2008 and since then has held many posts across the company including business development and new center set up with the successful launch of many INTO joint ventures across the UK, China and also George Mason University in the US. For the past six years, she has held the post of Global Operations Director for Direct Entry, working with our University partners in both the UK and the US, and she is currently Interim Centre Director at INTO Stirling.
